National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has posted the vacancies of Various jobs on its website, including the post of Assistant Superintendent, Inspector and others. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Nationality: Pakistani
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years old
- Qualification Minimum Requirement : Matriculate with English Medium
- Matriculation Certificate must be issued by a Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) recognized by the Government of Pakistan.
- In case matriculation certificate is issued from abroad, it should be at par with Pakistani standards and should be recognized by HEC or its equivalence in the country where matriculation certificate was obtained.
What are the requirements?
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is an independent federal investigative agency of Pakistan. It was set up in 1999, soon after General Pervez Musharraf’s military coup of 1999, and is tasked with fighting corruption in public life. NAB has a staff strength of 3,952 employees as on December 31, 2017.
The recruitment will be open to both males and females who have a bachelor’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized university. Candidates must not be less than 18 years old and they cannot be more than 50 years old on the date of the advertisement. The age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per government policy (5%).

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is an independent and autonomous federal investigative organization that has been given the power to investigate corruption. This institution was established in 1988 under the provisions of NAB Ordinance 1988 by General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, who also served as its first Chairman. The organization has its headquarters in Islamabad and has regional offices throughout Pakistan.
What is the selection process?
The selection process is highly competitive and only the most qualified applicants are selected. Applicants must have an Honours degree, or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant professional experience. The minimum age requirement is 21 years old.
The NAB’s recruitment process includes a written examination and interviews, with emphasis on the interview as the final determination of suitability for employment. The written examination will test aptitude in verbal and written English, arithmetic, comprehension skills and general knowledge of Pakistan. There is no age limit for taking this examination but candidates should not be more than 30 years old at the time of application to ensure that they meet the minimum education requirement.
When will the results be announced?
The NAB has not yet announced the date for the announcement of the results of the recruitment process, but it is expected to happen soon.
