on march 3, li enyi, the president assistant of china guodian corporation and president of china longyuan power, and huang qun, the secretary of party leadership group of china longyuan power met zhou lianqing, the secretary of putian municipal party committee, fujian province and his entourage. zhang yuan, the vice president accompanied the meeting. both parties carried out friendly talks in aspects of accelerating cooperation on offshore wind power development and construction, and establishing new energy development long-term mechanism.
during the talks, zhou highly affirmed the performance of china longyuan power in wind power development in putian city, especially he recognized the strength of china longyuan power on offshore wind power development. zhou said that pudian municipal government will enhance the support in aspects of offshore wind power project connection and approval in nanri island, and wished china longyuan power to continuously accelerate the development progress of offshore wind power in nanri island and promote social and economic development of putian city by large project investment. li enyi expressed the thanks to putian municipal party committee and municipal government for their concern and support to china longyuan power for long. he said china longyuan power would increase fund and technology input, spare no efforts to promote the offshore project approval and construction in nanri island, and build nanri island offshore wind power into an offshore wind farm with world leading level and huge influence. during the project development process, china longyuan power would, under coordination and leadership of putian municipal party committee and municipal government, sufficiently integrate to local social and economic development of putian.
after the meeting, li enyi and huang qun accompanied zhou lianqing and his entourage to visit the operation monitoring center in the head office. relevant personnel in planning and development department and fujian branch attended in the meeting and accompanied in the visit.
putian city is the key area for wind power development in fujian province, and also one of the areas with the best wind resources in fujian province. as of february 2015, the approved capacity of wind power in putian city is about 34.92% of that in the entire province, and the production capacity is about 36.17% of that in the entire province. as of february 2015, the capacity of operating projects in fujian province is 506.1mw, among which the operating capacity in putian city is 258.4mw, accounting for 51.08% of total operating capacity of china longyuan power in the entire province. besides, three onshore projects, totally 143mw, of china longyuan power are approved to construct in putian city, so putian is the main wind power development area of china longyuan power in fujian province.
