on april 4, china longyuan power convened the 2014 labor union work conference during which preparations for the labor competition featuring “four to four improvement” were also made. huang qun, secretary of party leadership group of the company attended the meeting and took the floor. he shen, member of party leadership group, leader of discipline inspection group, and chairman of the labor union, delivered the work report under the title of working hard to promote innovation, further deepening construction in five aspects, and effectively building china longyuan power into a world-leading listed company in field of new energy.
huang highly appreciated what the labor union did in 2013, made an analysis of the situation facing it, and put forward ardent expectations and concrete requirements for what to do next: first, effectively carrying out the policy of wholeheartedly rely on the staff members to develop the company; second, thoroughly implementing the “people-benefit project” and continuously carrying forward the green care program so as to make all the employees share the fruits of reform and development of the company; third, vigorously carrying out the labor union economic technology activity to give full scope to the role of employees as the main force; fourth, continuously strengthening democratic management in enterprise and effectively safeguard the legitimate interests of employees; and fifth, working hard to make the labor union work more scientific and turning the labor union into a trustworthy “home of staff”.
the meeting made it clear that the basic ideas of the labor union work in 2014 include: “striving to promote innovation, deepening five constructions, and achieving five improvements”. specifically speaking, with the focus on doing a good job in “five articles” and building the company into an internationally famous one, efforts should be made in innovating ideas, deeper integration, innovating methods, stimulating creativity, innovating services, and expanding platform; hard work should be done to strengthen the construction in such five aspects as democratic management, staff quality, making contributions, benefitting the people and showing care for the disadvantaged, and the labor union organization; furthermore, efforts should also be made to accomplish improvement in the five aspects including safeguarding legal rights according to the law, growth of staff, innovation and efficiency, serving the staff and the self-construction of the labor union.
at the meeting, the company also summarized and commended the labor competition with the slogan of “working hard in the first quarter to create a good start for the company”. a total of five subsidiaries including the jiangsu branch, together with the operation team 2 of shimaodingzi wind farm under heilongjiang branch, were given the honor of advanced collective. besides, there were ten employees winning the honor of advanced individuals including luo chaofa.
in addition, the meeting also made necessary preparation work to continue the labor competition featuring “four to four improvement” in the second and third quarters. it pointed out that efforts should be made to improve the safe production ability through strengthening stable operation, improve the generating capacity through strengthening equipment management, improve the electricity capacity of infrastructure through quickening the progress of works, and improve the marketing capability through strengthening the benchmark of electric quantity so that the staff’s morale is boosted and employee’s enthusiasm is stirred up, which is a boon for the final accomplishment of various targets in this year.
