xie learns the details of nanri island offshore wind power project
on jan. 7, xie changjun, member of party leadership group and vice president of china guodian corporation conducted an investigation in china longyuan power’s nanri island offshore wind power project in putian, fujian and met with major leaders of putian municipal party committee. he also extended sincere sympathy to the front-line staff of fujian branch. fei zhi, vice president of china longyuan power accompanied the investigation.
xie departed from shicheng north wharf by sea and conducted an on-the-spot investigation of the preliminary development and project preparation of the offshore wind power project. after that, he fully affirmed project progress. xie said that, offshore wind power is a strategic emerging industry encouraged by the state and is also a technological height of the group in the development of wind power industry. nanri project is another stride towards the sea after jiangsu rudong offshore wind power project of china longyuan power, so it is of great significance. xie required that china longyuan power should continuously give full play to its advantages, firmly grasp technical development direction of offshore wind power, focus on difficult issues such as construction scheme and delivery scheme comparison and optimization as well as operation and maintenance, strive for quality resources, strengthen resource, technical and talent reserve, and try to consolidate and expand the group’s competitive advantages in offshore wind power. first, pay attention to transformation development and enable the professional advantages to play an important role in offshore project resources access and argumentation; second, fully understand the complexity of project development and improve project construction management through elaborate organization and reasonable arrangement; third, summarize and accumulate offshore wind power development experience, improve technical research ability, and train a batch of offshore wind power talents.
during the investigation, xie also met with weng yuyao, mayor of putian municipal people’s government. the two sides had a discussion and reached extensive consensus on accelerating the cooperation in offshore wind power, promoting marine farm construction and building a long-term cooperative mechanism for new energy development. weng stated that putian municipal people’s government will continue to strengthen the support, and he hoped that china longyuan power will accelerate project construction and cooperate to establish a new development pattern that “prevails on the western side of the taiwan straits” for nanri marine economic development. xie showed his gratitude for the support of putian municipal people’s government, and stated that china longyuan power will spare no effort to advance project construction and strive to build it into a world leading offshore wind farm with great influence in three years.
xie also visited fujian branch’s zhongmen wind farm and extended sincere sympathy to the front-line staff. he pointed out that, fujian branch should strive to seize high quality resources, continue to expand the scope of wind power development, give full play to china longyuan power’s technical advantages, continuously complete the construction of the supervision center, and fully realize few-people or unattended operation of wind farm.
