on dec. 10 and dec. 12, huang qun, secretary of party leadership group, and zhang yuan, vice president of china longyuan power, met with new vestas ceo and executive vice president of dongfang electric corporation respectively, and had a friendly discussion on further strengthening the communication about new products and new technologies.
in the talks with mr. anders runevad, the new ceo of vestas, huang qun introduced wind power development of china longyuan power in the last few years as well as the demand for wind turbines, and also made some specific recommendations for vestas’s development in china. mr. anders runevad stressed that vestas has established long-term cooperative relationship with china longyuan power. as the leading enterprise of china’s wind power industry, china long power’s recommendations have significant reference value for vestas to make and adjust its development strategy in china.
in the talks with mr. zhang zhiying, executive vice president of dongfang electric corporation, zhang yuan first extended a warm welcome to mr. zhang zhiying and briefed him on the company’s development in recent years. zhang also reviewed the history of the cooperation between china longyuan power and dongfang electric corporation. zhang indicated that as a large power equipment manufacturing enterprise, dongfang electric corporation has strong r&d, design and manufacturing capacity, and china longyuan power hopes to continue to strengthen the communication about new products and new technologies with dongfang electric corporation. mr. zhang zhiying also introduced dongfang electric corporation’s sales performance over the years and the present product series, and stressed that china longyuan power and dongfang electric corporation have established a good basis for the cooperation, and he hoped to further strengthen the communication and cooperation with china longyuan power.
