on november 6, the result of “2013 global top 500 new energy companies” was announced. china longyuan power has successfully become one of them, ranking 35th among the global new energy companies and first among domestic new energy developers. it also won “outstanding contribution award” and “independent innovation award”. zhang baoquan, member of party leadership group and vice president of china longyuan power accepted the awards on behalf of the company.
in recent years, china longyuan power vigorously develops wind power-oriented new energy, actively engages in green power, and has made significant contributions to building ecological civilization and a beautiful china. the company continues to intensify the efforts to develop and invest in new energy over the years, and has established the industry-leading level in installed capacity, construction scale, resource reserve and economic benefit, etc. by the end of this june, the holding installed capacity of china longyuan power had reached 10,661mw, continually retaining the first in asia and china, and the second in the world steadily. the total assets had reached rmb 106.8 billion with rmb 37.6 billion of net assets. in the first half of this year, the total profits amounted to rmb 2.29 billion, representing an increase of 15.2% year on year. in this connection, the profitability has been improved steadily. moreover, the company has also took the lead in several emerging areas, such as overseas market, offshore wind power, and wind power at high altitudes and low wind speed. through independent innovation, the company has successfully constructed ten supporting systems of new energy technology and service, forming unique advantages in multiple areas of preliminary wind measurement, design consultation and operation monitoring, etc., cutting a brilliant figure in the domestic wind power industry, and taking the lead in china’s new energy industry for long-term.

“global top 500 new energy companies” is an authoritative research and evaluation activity jointly launched by china energy news and china institute of energy economics research, and has been successfully held for two sessions. it is the best carrier to deeply grasp the global new energy market as well as the latest trends, fully understand the pattern of new energy market, increase enterprise competitiveness and brand influence, and understand the changes of the global new energy industry. as the basis of the activity, the research of global top 500 new energy companies has been listed as a soft science project of the national energy administration in 2011.
