on october 22, president li enyi of china longyuan power group corporation limited (china longyuan power) met with mr. jonathan gafni and mr. eric meyer, president and executive chairman of compass point analytics (hereafter referred to as cpa) which is the professional advisor of cfius respectively from the u.s. as well as huang shouyi, apac managing director of morgan stanley and the entourage in beijing. jia nansong, secretary of the board also attended the interview.
mr. li enyi briefly introduced longyuan power’s general situation and its interim results in 2013, overseas investment strategies and the progress made in canada project, and identified north america market as the top priority of its overseas strategic investment. in the meantime, he emphasized the fact that longyuan power is the first enterprise engaging in wind power r&d, investment and operating, boasting 20 years of rich experience and powerful technological and financial strength. as clean energy has become a global task and hotspot today, the company has faith in its strength to “go out” and hopes to know more about the relevant approval process necessary for investment in the u.s. and corresponding solutions.
