during september 10 and 11, xie changjun, member of party leadership group and vice president of china guodian corporation, conducted an investigation with accompanying personnel in rudong offshore wind farm and xuyu low-speed wind farm of china longyuan power.
in rudong offshore wind farm, xie changjun visited offshore high-capacity wind turbine generator in person and ascended the engine room to investigate the operation condition of the equipment. he also listened to the introduction to the production and operation of the wind farm and the operating characteristics of offshore high-capacity wind turbine generator, and fully affirmed the achievements china longyuan power has made in offshore wind power development.
xie changjun said that, china longyuan power selected intertidal wind power as a breakthrough, overcame the difficulties in preliminary work and the deficiency of existing engineering construction program and worked out offshore wind power construction technologies that adapt to china’s national conditions within four years, which has provided a strong basis for the development of offshore wind power on a large scale and also contributed significantly to the consolidation and expansion of pioneering advantages of wind power for the group.
xie requested that, china longyuan power should thoroughly implement interim work conference spirit of the group, accelerate the development of offshore wind power, turn resource advantages into economic benefit and fully promote development quality. first, make overall plans, actively reserve quality resources and expand development space for offshore wind power. second, accelerate offshore wind power construction and fully expand china longyuan power’s pioneering advantages in offshore wind power field. third, summarize offshore wind power development experience in an all-round way and fully advance technological breakthrough and practice to realize the leap from intertidal to offshore wind power at an early date.
during the period, xie changjun also conducted an investigation in xuyu wind farm of jiangsu branch and the provincial centralized monitoring center of china longyuan power. xuyu wind farm is the first low-speed demonstration wind farm in jiangsu province. after a detailed understanding of the general information concerning the development and construction of the project, xie indicated that the company should make full use of local resources and constantly expand low-speed wind power development scope. the provincial centralized monitoring center of jiangsu branch is the key project for china longyuan power to pilot provincial monitoring. xie hoped that china longyuan power will give fully play to technological advantages, constantly complete construction of the monitoring center and fully realize few-people and unmanned on duty.
