during july 30 and 31, 2013, china guodian corporation’s workers table tennis selective trial was successfully held by china longyuan power in hohhot city, inner mongolia autonomous region. a total of 98 players of 28 teams from 28 units of china guodian corporation participated in the competition. zhang xiaoming, executive vice secretary-general of china electricity sports association, chen naizhuo, executive vice director of the working committee of china guodian corporation, and he shen, member of the party leadership group, leader of discipline inspection group, and chairman of the labor union, attended the event.
this event, which is actually meant to a review of the competitive level of table tennis and the mental outlook of china guodian corporation’s workers, strengthened communications between the units and the workers under the system and also enriched the workers’ cultural life. it was also an intensive selection for the national table tennis competition organized by china electricity council.
the competition set up four sports events, i.e. men’s doubles, women’s doubles, men’s singles and women’s singles. after intense competition, chen gang of guodian changyuan company, zhai fengkai of northern china branch and wang xiaobin of ningxia branch respectively won first place, second place and third place of men’s singles. xu jianqing of preparatory group of hunan branch, zhang xiaohong of shandong branch and zhao hong of northeast branch respectively won first place, second place and third place of women’s singles. china longyuan power won the outstanding organization award.
