during july 18 and 19, china longyuan power held the 2013 mid-year working conference in beijing. the conference fully summarized the work of the first half of the year, deeply analyzed current situation and clarified work ideas and key points for the next half year. li enyi, president of the corporation, huang qun, secretary of party leadership group, and other leaders including zhang yuan, li hongmei, fei zhi, jia nansong, he shen and zhang baoquan attended the conference. among them, li enyi gave a work report on president work and huang qun made a conclusion speech.

when analyzing current situation the corporation is facing, li enyi pointed out that the development trend of energy transformation characterized by vigorously developing new energy was irreversible in terms of long-term energy safety and sustainable development in china, where the determination to development new energy was firm and long-term. the 18th cpc national congress put ecological civilization construction in a prominent position, and put forward the idea of striving to build a beautiful china and bringing more development opportunities to new energy enterprises. in the meantime, we should also have a clear understanding of the difficulties and problems in the course of corporate development, including domestic and overseas financial situation, new energy market environment, etc. he stressed that the situation of current new energy industry was good on the whole in spite of quite a few difficulties and risks, but in general, there were more opportunities than challenges. we should not only boost confidence and determination in transition development, but also enhance crisis awareness and sense of urgency so as to seize the opportunities, meet the challenges and create a new situation for business development of the company.
as to the general work ideas in the next half year, li enyi stressed that we should earnestly implement the spirit of the 2013 mid-year working conference of china guodian corporation, center on cost-effectiveness, take transformation of development mode and advancement of development quality as the main line, focus on strengthening operation management and deepening reform and innovation, and strengthen and expand longyuan brand to realize healthy and sustainable dominance development.

in his speech, huang qun fully summarized the achievements of this conference. he said that this was an important conference that continued the implementation of the development strategy of “ushering in the business transformation by vigorously developing the new energy” of china guodian corporation so as to ensure sustainable and healthy dominance development. huang qun required the whole corporation to earnestly grasp the spirit of president work report, firmly apply the spirit into practical work, effectively strengthen the sense of mission and responsibility to be innovative and progressive and fulfill due responsibilities, and fully accomplish each goal and task of the whole year.

as to party construction and corporate culture construction, huang qun stressed the following aspects should be achieved. first, create atmosphere and prepare carefully to lay foundation for the mass line educational activities of the party in the beginning of next year. second, pay attention to the process, strengthen means and try to achieve good results in the voting of national civilized units and the national wind power operation and inspection skill competitions of power industry. third, make overall plans and effectively boost them to fully promote scientific level of party construction. last, fully arouse work enthusiasm of the staff and workers through continuous attention and active actions.
at the meeting, other leading group members of the corporation delivered speeches respectively for their work. safety production department, planning and development department and engineering construction department gave special reports respectively. corporate operation and legal affairs department gave a report on the analysis of the mid-year economic activities. inner mongolia company, yunnan company, hebei company, shanxi company, guizhou company and jiangsu company exchanged their ideas, during which period, president work report and special reports of relevant departments were discussed in group, and valuable suggestions were put forward for business development of the corporation.
