to carry out the work plan made at the working conference of party construction & anti-corruption construction for the year, and strengthen the function of the secretaries of the discipline inspection commissions, the company held a meeting where the secretaries of the discipline inspection commissions of its subsidiaries reported on their work and accepted the assessment. he shen, member of the party group, discipline leader and chairman of the labor union of the company attended the meeting and made a speech.
the meeting conveyed general manager li and secretary huang’s requirements of strengthening the construction of combating corruption and upholding integrity, listened to the reports of 23 secretaries of discipline inspection commissions about their respective work, and conducted assessments thereupon. it summarized the progress of the discipline inspection and supervision work from january to may, made some requirements of strengthening the fundamental work, and conducted the analysis on and discussion about how to strengthen the organization and coordination of work as a secretary of the discipline inspection commission. it conducted a discussion surrounding the topics-“how to create new supervision and inspection methods?” and “how to strengthen the risk prevention system and create an honest working environment?” besides, it invited some experts to provide training courses with the subject of “strengthening the supervision and inspection” and “how to effectively prevent committing crimes by taking advantage of one’s own duty” in combination with the features of the power industry and the state-owned enterprise.
the meeting made requirements for work of combating corruption and upholding integrity in the company: in the work arrangement, we shall think highly of the overall planning, participation of the whole staff and supervision in the whole process. we shall pay attention to three points with respect to working methods, i.e. we shall reform small matters, rectify small links, and correct small mistakes. as for the work results, we shall stress that no decisions which are against the rules shall be made, no illegal or undisciplined cases are allowed to occur, and dead corners and vacant sites shall be prevented. all working units shall incorporate the work of combating corruption and upholding integrity into their central work. the secretaries of the discipline inspection commissions shall conscientiously execute their work, strengthen the disciplines, adhere to the principles and play their roles so as to carry out the responsibility system in the construction of honest government.
