on february 25, xie changjun, vice-president of china guodian corporation and president of china longyuan power, met with the visiting global executive vice-chairman and coo of vestas, jean-marc lechene and his retinue in beijing. fei zhi, vice-president of china longyuan power, attended the meeting.
at the meeting xie changjun talked about china’s recent market situation and future policy, gave a brief introduction of the company’s planning and construction, and offered vestas some proposals on entering the chinese market: first, adjusting pricing model; second, diversifying product types; and third, establishing a service system to better adapt to the chinese market environment. xie hoped vestas could carry out pilot projects in the offshore wind field of china longyuan power so as to strengthen bilateral cooperation in operation and maintenance technology and business affairs.
jean-marc lechene stated the relevant measures vestas adopted on the basis of the global situation including the chinese market and responded to xie’s suggestions positively, saying that vestas was willing to strengthen technological exchanges and cooperation with china longyuan power.
during the talks, both sides also exchanged opinions on the issues related to production, including blade de-icing, installation of a spoiler and the calculation method based on availability of electricity.
besides, the men at the wheel from relevant departments also attended the meeting.
