recently, the first “luban prize” for the wind power in china went to longyuan power, which “hebei shangyi longyuan wind farm (150mw) project” won the 2012-2013 “luban prize” --- the highest honor for engineering quality in construction industry in china.
known as “nobel prize” in china architecture, the “luban prize” symbolizes the highest honor for engineering quality in construction industry in china, which is issued by ministry of construction and china construction industry association. the judging panel finally appraised this project as follows: with advanced and reasonable design, fine construction, obvious energy conservation and environmental protection effect,as well as safe and reliable unit operation, each technical index of this project reaches and is superior to the design value, and the overall quality reaches the leading level among similar domestic projects.upon completion, it delivers large amount of green, clean and renewable energy sources. the construction of this project improves the development of local economy, and is of significance for local government’s implementing the development planning of new energy industry, creating green and new energy industrial base, and for the economy growth as well as energy conservation and emission reduction in bashang, zhangjiakou.
at the beginning of the project, it has confirmed the construction objective of “put into operation in compliance with standard and high level, create high-quality project in china power industry, and strive to build national project”. in early 2012, longyuan power started the excellence creation for this project taking the opportunity of promoting the “management improvement” activity. the strong wind blows all year round in the wide open spaces of bashang, zhangjiakou, where is the rare concentration area of wind power in china with favorable wind power development value. led by the strategic objective of “lead the transformation by rapid development of new energy, construct first-class integrated power group” of china guodian corporation, longyuan power laid emphasis on the development of wind power projects in zhangjiakou areas. the capacity of master plan for longyuan qilinshan wind farm is 400mw, and the capacity of the first-stage project, i.e. hebei shangyi longyuan power farm project is 150mw totally installing 100 sets of sinovel sl82/1500 wind turbine generator units.

via abundant highly effective developments, this project passed the quality assessment by china electric power construction association with its high quality, and later won the 2012-2013 “excellent project award of china electric power” by its high standard, high score and high rank. it stood out from 22 wind power projects and obtained the only qualification for the recommendation of “luban prize” for wind power project. it finally won 2012-2013 “luban prize” after passing the field review by the experts of “luban prize” with high quality.
since the launch of the excellence creation for the qinlinshan first-stage project in zhangjiakou, except for 2012-2013 “luban prize”, longyuan power also won total 15 various prizes including scientific and technological achievements award and qc group achievement award. recently, it won the high quality award of china installation project i.e. national gold award --- the highest quality award in china installation industry issued by china installation association. from quality assessment to excellent project award of china electric power to excellent award of china installation project, from provincial or ministry level to national gold award, qinlinshan first-stage project of zhangjiakou company realized the leap development, and the overall construction level was affirmed highly by all circles.
