as required by 2012 annual assessment, the group company held the headquarters middle management work report meeting on january 9, 2013. the leaders, headquarters middle managements and full staff of the group company attended the meeting. huang qun, the secretary of party leadership group, held the meeting and xie changjun, the president, delivered a significant speech.
at the meeting, 13 personnel in charge of the department made the work report, reviewed and concluded the work in the whole year and put forward the vision for the work in the next year. afterwards, xie changjun delivered an important speech. xie pointed out that in 2012 the group company has reached the hard-won objectives set in the beginning of the year in aspects of capital market financing, electricity output, project input tasks, cdm registration and profits by tackling multiple adverse factors such as power rationing and depression in stock market, and striving corporately. after conveying the spirit of the national energy meeting, xie analyzed the operational situations the group company faced, and put forward the vision of work in 2013. meanwhile, xie emphasized on the several items of key work recently: seriously implement the eight regulations of the party central committee; simplify the gathering; maintain the production safety during holidays.
after the headquarters middle management work report meeting, the group company held the public comparison election and democratic recommendation meeting. the 13 candidates for the 4 posts in the headquarters such as director of the oversea business department delivered excellent speeches. xie emphasized on the significance of the competitive election such as the comparison election by the public, required the democratic recommendation work shall be well conducted according to the selection principles of leaders with equal integrity and ability, integrity first, outstanding achievements, and public praise. after the meeting, the leaders, president assistant, headquarters director, deputy director of the group company as well as leading group members of beijing-based units participated in the votes of democratic recommendation.
