a shot of the conference the expert committee is investigating in rudong offshore booster station
on nov. 5, the expert committee of china guodian corporation came to make an investigation in longyuan rudong offshore wind farm. the committee consists of 6 experts including zhou dabing, the director of the committee and the former president of china guodian corporation. during the visit, leaders including fei zhi, vice-president of china longyuan power accompanied the committee.
in the investigation, the committee listened to the report on the development of longyuan’s offshore wind power. the experts understood deeply the offshore wind power and fully recognized the achievements that had been made by the company in the field of offshore wind power. mr. zhou dabing put forward his opinion on the development of new energy enterprises in the current situation as follows: first, it was to take benefit as the starting point and foothold of longyuan’s offshore wind power; second, it was to fortify the training of the talents of offshore wind power, build a professional team of offshore wind power, and improve longyuan's influence in the offshore wind power industry; third, it was to select the turbine unit that is proper in price and good in quality as well as ensure the supply of its spare parts, normal maintenance and operation management; fourth, it was to realize scale development of offshore wind power and fully use the assimilative capacity of jiangsu grid so as to “make jiangsu wind power stronger and build an offshore three gorges project”; fifth, because offshore wind power is critical, it was to realize the module construction of offshore wind power through technological innovation so that the technology could be controllable.
longyuan rudong 150mw offshore wind farm is the first demonstration project of offshore wind farm in china. 100mw phase 1 of the offshore wind farm had been put into production in april 2012 and 50mw phase 2 had been installed in sept. 2012. including the 30mw pilot wind farm project that had been put into production in 2010, longyuan’s installed capacity of offshore wind power had amounted to 182mw. therefore, its leading position in asia’s offshore wind power industry was fortified further.
during this investigation, the experts visited the offshore booster station of longyuan rudong wind power co., ltd. in addition, riding suvs, they came to inspect the icon turbine unit which stood for “the record of china guodian corporation’s 10mw installed capacity of offshore wind power”.
