on july 11th, chief investment officer & managing director in asian-pacific region of government of singapore investment corp (hereinafter referred to as “gic”), the important investor of china longyuan power, richard chan and his four colleagues visited baotou bayin 200,000kw wind-power concession project in inner mongolia of china longyuan power and spoke highly of its professional management.
gic group visited wind power production & operation monitoring system at the central control room of bayin concession project. investors were quite interested in fan operation principle, generated power of wind power farm, fan maintenance cost and construction cost of wind power farm, etc. staff of the farm warmly received the investors and answered their questions in detail. seeing that 134 fans at the wind power farm all operated safely and steadily through monitoring system screen, investors spoke highly of the professional operation & management level of wind power farm of china longyuan power.
in the afternoon, investors arrived at the wind power farm and climbed to the over 60-meter tower with the staff to visit equipment in engine room of fans. investors said that this visit was a perfect experience opportunity; they felt more intuitively the operation & management of wind power farm and had more information on wind power operators. this visit played active role in their investment decision.
inner mongolia bayin wind power farm of china longyuan power was located in damaoqi of baotou city, and it belonged to national concession project, with 134 1,500kw fans installed and total capacity of 200,000kw.
