recently, the discipline inspection group under the party committee of china longyuan power group co., ltd. convened its first plenary session. the company’s party secretary attended the meeting and delivered an important speech to make deployment on strengthening the disciplinary inspection and supervision work within the whole corporation. the leader of the discipline inspection group took the chair, with all its members of being present at the meeting. during this plenary session, all the participants earnestly studied the working rules for the discipline inspection group of the china longyuan power party committee (for trial implementation); seriously discussed the specific division of labor among the members of the discipline inspection group; publicized and implemented the important speeches of the central leadership and the spirit of relevant documents; and conveyed the spirit of relevant meetings of guodian. moreover, the session also had an in-depth discussion on the discipline inspection group’s priorities for 2012.
the session stressed that firstly, the discipline inspection group should bring its role into full play and work hard to organize and promote the anti-corruption construction within the whole company. guided by the general principle, the members of the group should make their own contribution to this end; secondly, the discipline inspection group should promote the work in a down-to-earth manner, strike a balance between the basic work, temporary work and the key work, facilitate the efforts in innovation on the basis of the reality and try to make the disciplinary inspection work much more institutionalized, more scientific and more standardized; and thirdly, the disciplinary inspection work should highlight its key points and set great store on publicizing and educating, in particular improving the prevention and control measures so as to synchronize the disciplinary inspection work with the early warning mechanism for prevention and control. in addition, continuous efforts should also be made to build and improve the anti-corruption system with the distinct characteristics of china longyuan power in order to achieve the effective results in practice.
