recently china guodian corporation’s scientific program of “developing the evaluation software of wind resources” shouldered by china longyuan power has successfully passed the acceptance check. all the distinguished experts engaged in the acceptance check believed that the achievement of this program had reached the advanced level in domestic china and assented to allow the program to pass the acceptance check.
this program was specially undertaken by affiliated to china longyuan power. starting from april 2009, it had lasted for two and a half years. this software consists of modules as follows: module of processing wind measurement data, module of wind farm layout and generation output calculation, and module of analyzing wind turbines safety. the innovative point of this software is that it has made some improvements concerning the faults of wasp. it uses wind frequency distribution measured actually as the input conditions of wind resources analysis and therefore, it has theoretically eliminated the faults of wasp. furthermore, as to the problem of wasp’s poor landform adaptability, it has put forward landform correction module so that it has strengthened the correlation between the wind measurement point and other points of interest, improved the accuracy of the calculation result as well as enhanced the adaptability of the linear module in complicated landforms.
being analyzed and validated by adopting the real operation data in several domestic wind farms, this software has good inosculation and better comparative calculation result than wasp.
