on feb. 20 to 22, the 4th meeting of the 1st session of workers’ congress and the work conference of 2012 of china longyuan power group corporation ltd. (the company) was held in beijing.

with regarding to the work of longyuan power in 2012, yang haibin raised several requirements: first, implement the work meeting spirit of china guodian corporation; second, consolidate and maintain the leading position in the new energy industry; third, give a full play to the professional management advantages; and inherit and carry forward the home culture.

he said that the work in 2012 would follow the general guiding ideology of “following a main routine, fighting for two breakthroughs, improving three mechanisms, focusing on the implementation of four keys and achieving five guarantees” to fully improve the profitability of the business, risk control ability, scientific and technological innovation capacity and sustainable development capacity, and to accelerate the building of world-class listing energy company.
xie changjun stressed that in 2012 the company will focus on the following aspects: firstly, to strengthen the sense of responsibility in order to ensure stable safe production; secondly, to strive to reduce costs and improve efficiency in order to ensure the profitability of the company; thirdly, to optimize the development layout in order to ensure the development quality of the company; fourthly, to adhere to the optimized design in order to ensure the project quality and cost objectives; to accelerate the construction of the research and development platform in order to improve the technological innovation capacity; to strengthen the introduction and cultivation of talents in order to provide strong talent security; to publicize honest practice and comprehensively strengthen the party building and the building of spiritual civilization; to implement the spirit of the sixth plenary session of the 17th central committee of cpc and advocate the concept of corporate culture cohering people together.

he said that this conference was important to thoroughly implement guodian corporation’s development strategy of “ushering in the business transformation by vigorously developing the new energy” and ensure sustainable and healthy development of the company during the period of “12th five-year plan”.
with a clear theme, rich contents and practical and efficient manners, this conference has reached the expected target to clearly understand the situation, strengthen confidence, clear thoughts, identify tasks, unify our thinking and inspire enthusiasm.
with respect to how to implement the spirit of the conference, mr. huang put forward three points: first, we must recognize the situation, identify the objective and comprehensively implement the spirit of the conference; second, we should work practically, strive for the best and successfully complete the annual objectives and tasks; third, we should fully play our advantages, carry forward the tradition and comprehensively strengthen the construction of clean and honest administration and corporate culture.
he stressed that it would be glorious and arduous to complete objectives and tasks in 2012 and there would be a long way to realize the company’s development strategy.
