on dec. 1, fujian putian city mayor liang jianyong and executive vice-mayor lin qingshengled a group of officers from related departments directly under municipal government and putian electric power bureau to carry out an investigation at putian nanri island wind farm of wind power corporation of longyuan power in fujian. liang jianyong and his entourages visited the under-construction fourth phase and the first three phases of nanri project and had a clear understanding of the construction schedule and power generation. they also heard reports on preparation work of two wind farms in nanri, yunwan and shipan, and the off shore wind farm.
during the investigation, liang jianyong said nanri wind farm projects had stimulated the economic development in putian, therefore, government should vigorously support their construction and development. he remarked that we should accelerate development of offshore wind farm; local power company should map out the construction of wind power transmission project to ensure an immediate power generation after completion and make a new contribution to economic development in putian.
