china longyuan power was presented with the plate of “the national energy research (test) center of wind power operation technology” by the national energy agency (nea) at the first scientific work meeting held by china guodian corporation on nov. 3. in addition, it was awarded with the title of the advanced unit of the scientific work in china guodian corporation’s 11th five-year plan and one staff was honored as the advanced individual of scientific work in china guodian corporation’s 11th five-year plan. these honors symbolize that china longyuan power has implemented the general requirement of china guodian corporation on the scientific work carefully. it has actively carried out the leading edge research in the field of new energies and made great achievements.
during the 11th five-year plan, china longyuan power had always placed scientific work at an important position. it had fully fortified the construction of system and mechanism so that it had set up the trinity system of scientific work which was characterized by the integration of scientific research organizations, scientific enterprises and branches. meanwhile, it had made and perfected some rules and regulations, such as the management methods regarding the scientific projects of china longyuan power group corporation limited, methods regarding encouraging staff to publish scientific articles, management system of intellectual property, financial management methods regarding scientific projects. as a result, it had further standardized its operational procedures, including application procedure of scientific projects, project implementation management, project finance management and project acceptance process. ultimately, it had ensured the rapid and orderly development of the company’s scientific industry.
nowadays industry competition has become increasingly intense, so talents are the key of the core competitiveness of an enterprise. china longyuan power attaches great importance to the cultivation of talents. during the 11th five-year plan, based on the former staff training and development system and through improvement and supplementation, it had established the training system that was closer to post requirements and realized 100% training rate of its staff. since its foundation in 2006, its training center had trained more than 2900 persons. its national occupational skill certification station of wind power of guodian longyuan had provided technological support to the staff at the production posts with certificate before taking their posts. besides combining with the demand of its strategic development, the company had trained over 400 international talents through sending employees to study abroad and inviting experts to teach in the company. the electric power training center of china longyuan power had become the only professional organization that carried out the safety training on protection against falls from a height.
in order to maintain its leading position in the field of new energies and become the leading enterprise of wind power industry, during the 11th five-year plan, the company had carried out actively the cooperation among industry, schools and research institutes. it had implemented full communications and cooperation with such organizations as china academy of sciences, tsinghua university, peking university and the second institute of oceanography of soa in relevant projects concerning renewable energies. in addition, it had launched out several technological communications with some foreign research institutes in the us and germany so that good effect had been made. in the 11th five-year plan, the company had made the following achievements: it had undertaken 5 projects of the national high-tech research and development program of china (“863" program) and four international cooperation projects; it had won 8 prizes presented by the authorities at the levels of province, ministry and china power; it had drafted and issued 3 standards of electric power industry and had obtained 20 granted patents.
at this scientific meeting, china guodian corporation posed the clear target for the scientific innovation and the development of scientific industry during the 12th five-year plan. closely focusing on this target, china longyuan power will continue to fortify the research and development of new energy technology so as to improve its technological innovation ability continuously. during the 12th five-year plan, the company will carry out its scientific work in the fields of management innovation, knowledge innovation and technological innovation as well as intensify the research of key technology. first, it is to improve the management system and mechanism of scientific research and development so as to make breakthroughs in the fields of key technology innovation, demonstration projects, product development and drafting of industry standard; second, it is to set up and perfect the talent training system, train a group of backbone talents of science and technology, form a strategic team which can grasp the trend of renewable energies both at home and abroad as well as discipline leaders of new energy field. finally, it is to make breakthroughs in the significant scientific project, including some projects of “863” program, such as demonstration of integration technology research of the design of large pv system and its equipment development, research on the key technologies of the constructions of offshore wind power, research and development of the key technologies of the intertidal wind farm constructions as well as other research projects selected by the group independently.
by the end of the 12th five-year plan, through its excellent performance in the fields, such as independent innovation, talent training, system construction, scientific cooperation and communication, china longyuan power will build the institute of wind power operation technology and the institute of marine geothermal power technology of guodian new energy technology research institute into world-leading national research and development center of renewable energy and center of scientific cooperation and communication as well as a talent training base. apart from that, it is imperative for the company to maintain its leading position in the technological development of renewable energies, optimize energy utilization rate by using effective high and new technology, promote the industrialization of china guodian corporation’s renewable energy technology and improve its international competitiveness.
