spot of the closing ceremony
on july 25-27, the 2011 longyuan power skill competition for operation and testing of wind power was held in chengde, hebei province. a total of 63 contestants from 21 wind power stations under longyuan power took part in the contest. huang qun, secretary of the party committee of the corporation and he shen, head of the team for discipline inspection and chairman of the labor union came to watch the competition on the spot and attended the closing ceremony.
after two days’ fierce competition, the xing’anling wind power co., ltd. in yichun won the first place, followed by the longyuan (beijing) wind power engineering technology co., ltd. and zhejiang wind power development co., ltd..
the whole contest consists of two parts: theory test and practical operation. of these, the theory examination is mainly to check the performance of the contestants in studying the theoretical knowledge in operation and management of the wind power station, safety in the wind power station, basic theory of wind power and maintenance and overhaul of the wind power station; while the practical part focuses on testing the contestants’ ability in equipment operation, inspection and maintenance, as well as troubleshooting. there are two kinds of wind turbines available for use: one features a united power of 1,500 kw and the other is 1,500 kw jin feng.
at the closing ceremony, secretary huang qun stressed that, through regularly holding the skill competitions in various forms, to create a platform for improving the employee’s technical qualifications, to strengthen the cultivation of the talents with high skills and to constantly improve the core competence of the group corporation. furthermore, he also encouraged all contestants to take this competition as a new starting point, look ahead, continue working harder toward a new higher goal, and play their vanguard and exemplary role in the future work.
