on august 3, huang qun, secretary of party leadership group of china longyuan power group co., ltd. met with nagata, head of the overseas sales department of jps, and his entourage. the two made in-depth exchanges on the cooperative development of offshore wind power projects.
during the meeting, huang qun made a brief introduction of the present development situation of offshore wind power business in longyuan power. he noted that, longyuan power is engaged in the preliminary work of the offshore wind power projects in many parts of china’s coastal area. vigorously developing the offshore wind power is a significant strategic arrangement of the corporation and represents its development orientation. jps is a leading supplier of undersea cable in the world. longyuan power hopes to have the opportunity to conduct in-depth cooperation with jps, huang added.
nagata also offered an introduction about the competitive edge of jps products and its technology. he stressed that jps attaches great importance to developing the chinese market. the installed capacity of longyuan power ranks first in asia and third across the world. what’s more, longyuan power successfully developed the world’s first offshore wind power project in the intertidal zone. these are enough to prove that longyuan power is a company which is strong and worth trusting. nagata hopes to conduct close cooperation with longyuan power and facilitate its further development of the offshore wind power undertaking by offering qualified services.
