on the afternoon of july 18th, xie changjun, gm of china longyuan power group corporation limited interviewed jiang shan, mayor of chuzhou city, anhui province, and his followers. both sides held an amicable negotiation on the wind power exploitation in mingguang area in the city and entered an agreement on 600mw wind power exploitation in mingguang area. huang qun, secretary of the party leadership group of china longyuan power, and fei zhi, deputy gm of the company, also attended the interview.
first, xie changjun extended his welcome to jiang shan and his followers. in the past three years, china longyuan power had made close cooperation with chuzhou municipal government in the field of wind power development. in may, lai’an 200mw wind power project of the company had been launched into production, which signified that the first large wind farm of low wind speed in china had been completed as well as a gap of wind power generation in anhui had been filled in. xie changjun said that the company would accelerate its investment in chuzhou so as to make active contribution to the local economic development.
jiang shan said that a boom of wind power investment appeared in chuzhou due to longyuan’s investment in the city. therefore, he expressed his gratitude to the company for its support in the past years. he said that the company had launched large exploitation in the areas with low wind speed in anhui, which had played a model function. he also said that the city would rely more upon the strength and support given by the company and the government would make the overall plan of wind power exploitation in mingguang area.
in the recent years, chuzhou municipal government had positioned wind power industry to be the dominating industry so as to drive the local economic development. in addition, it was one of the important measures of the city to develop green energy in order to realize the scientific development of the city. mingguang area is one of the areas with richest wind resources in chuzhou, the speed of whose prevailing wind is comparatively stable and has a bright development prospect.
