on the afternoon of july 4, huang qun, party secretary and deputy general manager of the china longyuan power group co., ltd., met with qin rupei, party secretary of bijie prefecture and his entourage. at the meeting, they held talks on developing the new energy in bijie and inked the cooperation agreement on the construction of wind power in bijie prefecture.
huang qun first extended his warm greeting to qin and his followers. after a brief introduction of the development history of longyuan power, its installed capacity of wind power and advantages in technology and capital, huang said: “our longyuan power group has the determination, capability, desire and the strength to do well in the wind power project of bijie.
according to huang, the wind power projects developed and operated by the china longyuan power at present all have a very good profitability. longyuan has a whole set of strict standards set for the wind power development. a comprehensive analysis and research will be conducted for the specific local conditions including the wind energy resources, accession conditions of the power grid, roads, and requisitions of land and forests before a new project starts. on the basis of these, a feasible project development plan can be made available.
bijie prefecture is a demonstration area for “alleviating poverty through development and promoting ecological construction”, whose establishment was approved by the state council in 1988. developing green energy resources and promoting low-carbon economy is an important measure that bijie adopted to realize its scientific development in recent years. as the leading wind power enterprise in our country, longyuan power began to develop the wind power for bijie area in 2009. the preliminary work has been done for more than one year. in 2011, the mabaishan and xiliangshan wind power projects in weining county of bijie prefecture were approved for construction. their combined installed capacity reaches 99,000 kw.
in 2010, qin rupei once made an inspection tour to the wind power project in weining county developed by longyuan power. he then expressed his satisfaction with the strength of longyuan and its construction speed. qin said: “we only choose to cooperate with the world’s leading enterprise in the sector of new energy development. so we choose the china longyuan power. bijie prefectural government and longyuan power will join hands to win the support of the grid company for the development of wind power in bijie.”
during the talk, the two sides discussed the issues on the development of the new energy resources, such as wind energy, solar energy and biomass energy and exchanged their opinions.
