a shot of the meeting
on the afternoon of july 4, the china longyuan power held an enlarged meeting for the theory center group under its party committee to further study volumeii of the history of the chinese communist party. at the meeting, huang qun, party secretary and deputy gm of the company took the chair. some major leaders of this company attended the meeting, including wang liansheng, zhang yuan, li hongmei, fei zhi, jia nansong, he shen and zhang baoquan. a total of more than 280 people participated in this study at the main meeting place and the branch meeting places respectively. they included members of the leadership group of the company, its party branch secretary and representatives of the party members.
this meeting invited chen xuewei, an expert in the theoretical study of the history of the cpc and professor with the party school of the cpc central committee to give a lecture. through this study, the party members gained more knowledge of the history of the cpc and at the same time, they further deepened their understanding of the importance of strengthening the party building work in the whole system of the company.
huang qun said in his speech: since its birth in 1921, the cpc has never stopped its efforts in exploring the way to save the nation and how to make the nation stronger. in this process, the party experienced numerous twists and turns, and ups and downs. knowing about the past can help us clearly see the way forward. countless facts have proved that without the cpc, there will be new china. we should even more firmly take the socialist road with salient chinese characteristics.
huang stressed that this year marked the 90th anniversary of the cpc and the party organizations at all levels and the party members in the company should work harder at two points: first, efforts should be made to further study the history of the cpc on the basis of the construction of the learning party organization so as to further enhance their understanding of the party and improve their political acumen and discernment; second, efforts should be made to play the exemplary vanguard role of the party members and set up the image of the party member. the party members and the cadres in the company should be strict with themselves in higher standards, strive to be excellent and fully display the style of a party member in the corporate development and socialist construction.
after the meeting, the participants said that they did benefit a lot from this study. they would continue to strengthen the self-study in this regard in future, timely write down the useful feelings and experiences thus gained, and try hard to improve the personal quality in order to make greater contribution to the company and the country at large.
