in june, china longyuan power group corporation ltd. (china longyuan power) participated in energex africa and generator world 2011 which was held in south africa. zhang chengjie, deputy gm of china guodian corporation, and his followers attended the exhibition.
this exhibition has become the most comprehensive exhibition platform of electric energy in southern africa because it was jointly sponsored by china electricity council and electric committee of china council for the promotion of international trade and greatly supported by many local institutions, such as ministry of energy of south africa, government of johannesburg, power company of johannesburg, foundation for the rural electricity in africa, renewable energy and energy efficiency partnership, renewable energy association of southern africa and alternative energy association of southern africa.
at present, 5 potential wind farms including de aar, springbok and namaqualand are being developed by china longyuan power and the total volume is planned to be 1,600mw. through this exhibition, the company introduced its extraordinary achievements and great competiveness in the field of new energy generation to the african countries and focused on an overview of the company including its business performance, corporate culture, main business and international cooperation and exchanges. besides it described its good vision to actively develop the oversea wind projects.
