at eleven thirty of the morning of may 18, 2011, with the long blowing of the whistle, the first full revolve 800-ton offshore crane ship of wind power, which belonged to jiangsu longyuan zhenhua marine industry co., ltd.(in short “longyuan zhenhua”), was officially delivered for use.leaders as follows attended the delivery ceremony: huang qun, secretary of the party committee and deputy gm of china longyuan power; kang xuezeng, president of shanghai zhenhua heavy industries(corporation) co., ltd.; in addition, local leaders of nantong city and duty persons of relevant departments also took part in the ceremony.
this crane ship was designed and manufactured by shanghai zhenhua heavy industries co., ltd., one of the largest port machinery manufacturers in domestic china. its main dimensions are as follows: length: 99m, breadth: 43.2m, depth: 6.5m. besides, it is equipped with 800-ton full revolving crane of marine industries and s-800 hydraulic pile hammer manufactured by the ihc holland company. it is customized specially according to the coastal hydrological conditions in domestic china and can be widely used in the marine operations in china’s intertidal zones and offshore areas, such as single pile driving of wind power projects and the installation of wind turbines. therefore, it is the special ship used in intertidal areas as well as the ship with the strongest lifting and pile driving capacity in domestic china.
longyuan zhenhua, a joint venture established by china longyuan power and shanghai zhenhua heavy industries(corporation), is one of the pioneers in domestic china, whose main business covers the adjustment, installation and maintenance of the offshore wind power equipment. since its establishment in june 2010, longyuan zhenhua has first grasped some advanced technologies, such as single pipe pile driving of offshore wind power, which has made several zero breakthroughs in the construction of offshore wind power in china.
in sept. 2010, china longyuan power established the first intertidal wind farm in the world – jiangsu rudong 30mw intertidal pilot wind farm; in oct. 2010, at the first bidding of china’s offshore wind projects, the company became the winner of the chartered wind power project – 200mw jiangsu dafeng intertidal wind farm; in dec. 2010, rudong 150mw intertidal demonstration project had been reviewed and approved by the ndrc. china longyuan power has been the first and the third largest wind power company respectively in asia and the world. the joint establishment of longyuan zhenhua by the company and zhenhua heavy industries is its significant deployment to enter the offshore wind power market as well as maintain its leading position in the development of offshore wind power.
