on october 8, 2010, china longyuan power group corporation limited received the award notice from china machinery & equipment international tendering co. ltd., the tender agent responsible for the first round of offshore wind power franchise projects of china. undergoing furious competitions, with its rich experience in the intertidal zone wind power, china longyuan power successfully won the bid for the 200 mw wind power franchise project of jiangsu dafeng intertidal zone wind farm.
the 200 mw wind power franchise project of jiangsu dafeng intertidal zone wind farm is located at dongsha shoal outside dafeng city, jiangsu province. the central location of the wind farm is about 30km straightly away from the coastline and the planned sea area is 127km². the planned total installed capacity of the wind farm is 200 mw and 80 2.5mw wtg are to be installed.
