on october 5, 2010, hao peng, deputy secretary of the party committee and executive vice chairman of tibet autonomous region, together with ding yexian, vice chairman of tibet autonomous region, visited the construction site of tibet’ yangbajing 10mw pv project of china longyuan power group corporation limited.
after listening to the report of longyuan (tibet) new energy co., ltd, mr. hao pointed out that, yangbajing is rich in the resources of geothermal energy, solar energy and wind energy, it is necessary to further promote our understanding to the importance and urgency to develop new energies, construct yangbajing to be a new energy base of tibet and convert the local rich solar energy, wind energy and geothermal energy into unlimited electric power so as to make an active contribution to the social and economic development of tibet. meanwhile, mr. hao required that, longyuan (tibet) new energy co., ltd should make efforts to heighten engineering construction level, pay much attention to engineering quality and safety and struggle to create yangbajing 10mw pv power station project to be an industrial tourism base.
longyuan tibet yangbajing 10mw pv power station project is the first large pv powergrid synchronization project of tibet autonomous region, which was consented by the national development and reform commission in november 2009 with a paper issued and reviewed and approved by the development and reform commission of tibet autonomous region under the entrustment of the national development and reform commission. it is predicted that this project will be synchronized into the powergrid and generate electric power by the end of 2010.
