on march 24, zhang chengjie, deputy general manager of china guodian corporation, and huang qun, secretary of the party group of china longyuan power, accompanied zhao shitang, deputy secretary of sasac general bureau, and his parties to investigate jiangsu rudong intertidal wind power farm of china longyuan power. zhao shitang carefully investigated the site of the intertidal wind power filed, heard the report on relevant circumstances and gave significant instructions for the development of offshore wind power.
longyuan jiangsu rudong 30mw intertidal wind power farm is an which has been constructed in response to the national call to develop offshore wind power on a large scale. the experimental wind power farm is situated 3 to 5 miles away from the outside of jiangsu rudong harbor seawall. the total installed capacity is of 32mw, and the stand-alone capacities are respectively of 1.5mw, 2.0mw, 2.5mw and 3.0mw. there are 16 domestic test prototypes in 9 models provided by 8 manufacturers. with completion on sep. 28, 2010, it has broken the zero record of offshore (intertidal) wind power farms in china and even in the whole world.
