by now, the wind power prediction system in longyuan power has been running steadily for one year. jointly created by the zhong neng power-tech development co., ltd., the parent company of longyuan power, and peking university, the system has been installed and put into use in the wind power stations under longyuan power, including dongling, huangang, lingyang and dongyuan in jiangsu, lai’an in anhui, and shuanglong in changling of jilin.
the wind power forecasting system can predict the local weather for the wind power station in the future and draw the power curve in accordance with its historical data, thus enabling to estimate the future output power of the wind power station.
according to the interim measures on wind power forecasting management released by the national energy administration at the beginning of june this year, all the grid-connected wind power stations must be armed with the wind power forecasting system, conduct wind power prediction on the basis of the relevant requirements and ensure the safe and steady operation of the system. the forecasting system in longyuan power is basically consistent with the requirements mentioned above and does provide an important technical support for the production and operation of the corporation.
