the department of safety production of the head office convened a meeting for the staff with the e’man wind power station on june 23. the theme was “the responsibility of safety production should be highly valued in practice”. at the meeting, arrangements were made for the emergency drill in the “safety-production month”.
during the drill, the on-site workers were divided into two groups: one was for line inspection and the other for equipment inspection in the wind power farm. each of the two quickly got to the designated location and started to work after receiving the task. problems found in this process were solved in a timely manner.
as hainan has recently entered its typhoon season, the inspection teams gave more attention to the functions of the equipments and circuits, in particular such functions as wind proof, lightning protection and moisture proof. much of their attention also went to the doors and windows inside the booster station to ensure they had been made as secure as possible. moreover, they prepared water-proof sand bags and enough food to eat in the station so as to fight against typhoon when it arrived. the emergency drill in this safety-production month was a great success.
