this year marks 89th anniversary of communist party of china. before july 1, the day when cpc was founded, a training course was held for longyuan power’s applicants for party membership on june 11 via its video conference system. tian shicun, secretary of party leadership group, was present and gave a speech, together with wang jianting, head of the company’s disciplinary inspection and chairman of labor union. a total of 251 persons including leaders in charge of party affairs, workers of party affairs, applicant for party membership, key raise object and new party members in the past two years took part in the training in their individual meeting rooms.
for this training, a teacher from beijing municipal party school was invited to give lectures on constitution of communist party of china and basic theories. trainees responded positively to the training with enthusiasm. the training helped deepen their understanding of basic theories and knowledge about the party, including the party’s guiding principles, character, tenet, and tasks, as well as the courses, guidelines and policies of the party in this new era. through this training, the applicants further correct their attitude towards having the membership and identify their directions to make efforts for the near future.
secretary tian delivered concluding remarks. he asked all trainees to enhance their ideological understanding and thinking and keep improving practical abilities by learning unremittingly and thoroughly. he stressed that applicants should, based on their respective posts, make continuous efforts to join the communist party of china as soon as possibly by putting party members criteria into practice for the development of the company. he also encouraged every full member of the party to play a vanguard and exemplary role, making their share of contributions for the accomplishment of annual targets of the company.
