on june 4, china electric power construction association (cepca) honored the enterprises winning the award of “national high quality electric power engineering in 2010”. passing the strict prequalification, on-site reexamination and examination, longyuan power’s three projects including a three-stage project in tongyu, bayan concession project and huanan wind farm were granted the award.
the annual award of national high quality electric power engineering is set by cepca to enhance the quality and management of national electric power construction projects, encourage technology progress and guarantee investment benefit and pursue excellent performance. the projects to be shortlisted must pass the examination of electric power engineering for reaching the standard and being put into operation for their feasible and advanced design, with their technological and economic indexes up to the advanced level of domestic similar projects at the same time.
all of longyuan power’s three projects which won the award have hit the high level in the quality and installation process. for example, 210 out of 690 piles of reinforced concrete in the foundation of wind-powered generators in the three-stage project in tongyu jilin were checked and found to be grade one; direct-drive wind-powered generators were introduced for the first time into the concession project in bayan carried out by longyuan (baotou) wind power generation co., ltd; and several innovations were also made in the lifting technology for the wind power project in huanan county, yichun, considering the restricted operation space in forest area.
the fact that longyuan power has three projects to win the top award in national electric power industry at one time indicates that the company has a high level in terms of all aspects of electric power construction. (chen shaojiang & wu feiying)
